International Health and Science Foundation Launches Website VitaminK2.org

An international scientific community, the International Health and Science Foundation has been working to protect and promote health since its founding in 2009. With its main object of health education through the promotion of social and scientific project, the Foundation recently launched a new portal – www.VitaminK2.org – as a credible and reliable source of information on the benefits of vitamin K2.

“The mission of the International Health and Science Foundation is to improve the quality of life by providing proper knowledge and supporting the development of science. That is why we decided to develop a website – VitaminK2.org,” says Katarzyna Maresz, PhD, president of International Science and Health Foundation. “Offering current medical knowledge and the latest research on the properties of vitamin K2, we want our visitors to have the opportunity to consciously counteract the negative changes in the skeletal system and the circulatory system. Our goal is to build awareness of the great healing properties of Vitamin K2 – not only for adults, but also for children – through a portal that is accessible for consumers and medical professionals alike.”

The Foundation has culled together the latest and key scientific studies, as well as articles on healthy lifestyle, to give visitors a full picture of the growing body of evidence on the benefits vitamin K2 has to offer, particularly in the areas of bone health, heart health, and children’s health. Most importantly, according to Dr. Maresz, is that the website is easy-to-navigate and accessible to a wide audience.

“Vitamink2.org is intended to be a resource for all – consumers and medical professionals alike. Every visitor has access to the latest information pertaining to vitamin K2, from research and analysis, to ideas about attaining a healthy lifestyle. And should a visitor not find what they are searching for, we encourage them to use our Contact Form to reach out to one of our experts to answer their specific question.”

VitaminK2.org is the latest effort and a natural progression in the Foundation’s main objective of health education. Since its founding, it has launched similar portals, such as:

Pregnancy Portal: On May 26, 2009 (Mother’s Day in Poland), the Foundation debuted its Pregnancy Portal (www.Ciążowy.pl), a non-profit service for people who are planning to have a baby, pregnant women and parents of young children.

Fertility Portal: In 2011, the Foundation started working on a portal – www.staraniowy.pl – to provide a reliable source of information on fertility problems for a growing community of men and women.

Paternity Portal: In early September 2011, the Foundation launched the portal www.urlopojcowski.info to inspire men to become more involved in raising their own children, and inform them of their rights. The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
