Word Spreads About VitaminK2.org
Since going live on September 4, 2014, VitaminK2.org has experienced an influx of visitors, reaffirming the need for a reliable, third-party educational resource.
“Preparing this site for consumers and practitioners has been a long process, but one we were so excited to complete. Once we were ready to launch the site, we wanted to let the world know, but as a non-profit organization, we do not really have a publicity budget to speak of,” says Katarzyna Maresz, PhD, president of the International Science and Health Foundation. “Thankfully, we were able to earn the attention of a few media outlets that ran the announcement, and that appears to be more than enough.”
In time, the Foundation distributed a press release about the launch of VitaminK2.org to a handful of editors and media. Once outlets such as Nutraceuticals World and Natural Products INSIDER ran the press release on their respective websites, the Foundation saw an immediate increase in visitors, who have turned out to be quite vocal.
“Visitors to the site have been actively communicating with the Foundation. Along with the questions they are asking about Vitamin K2, visitors are taking the time to express their appreciation for the site. It has been incredibly gratifying,” Dr. Maresz continues. “We will work to address each and every inquiry, as well as updating the site regularly with the latest developments. Let us hope that this interest only continues to grow.”
